The 2016 Frankfurt Lighting fair was just closed last Friday, over 2500 exhibitors and 210,000 visitors took part in. The fair is held under the motto “Where modern spaces come to life: digital – individual – networked”. The industry shows intelligent solutions and advanced technologies for digitization and networking with current design trends. Human centric lighting is shown in networked security, intelligent home, building automation and efficient energy management.

The top theme ‘Smart technologies’ combines a variety of aspects and Light + Building puts the spotlight on the subjects of the smart home, the smart powered building, safety and security technology and building information modeling (BIM).

Bright spots in the future: Design and function in harmony

The top theme Bright spots in the future covers current trends in the fields of design, material and technology as well as the biological and emotional effects of light on humans (human centric lighting). It describes how modern lighting control can support the human biorhythm and enhance the physical performance and wellbeing.

Thousands of exhibitors showed their latest lighting and building products:

Track lights that can adjust setting place to fit different application;

Miniaturization of lamps and lanterns;

They showed lighting products in a specific circumstance where lights should be installed in real life, so that people can personally experience how it work actually in practical life, and it make the fair a big show compress the whole world.

As VERTEX was showing, lots of visitors were attracted by the MUSIC light, a LED downlight with RGBW lighting that can change according to the rhythm laid out though its speaker, which is absolutely a star product in the show.
